"Who do you call...?"

Daily we decide every moment of every day what and how we carry on with our lives. Simple choices like "what to wear, what to eat & what to put on our feet". Every occasion in our existence we face decisions, choices, options; to select, boxes to check, so to speak.
In simple everyday living we have relatively uncomplicated, straightforward decisions that seldom result in grave repercussions. Most would involve self, family or loved ones for which poorly made choices neither impact in extremely adverse manner nor produce outstandingly beneficial effects. There are times though when a really bad choice can lead to a future disaster( as in deciding to get married ..to the wrong person :(
In our vocations too, everyday at the job, we decide.
Based on our knowledge, the training we had, as well as experiences acquired from extended involvement on the job; we continually have to decide, to chose.
More important than simple, trivial domestic, personal choices; decisions made on the job can have great impact  & result in positive or negative implications for the corporation for which we make them. Thus it is usually with considerable care, involved contemplation and intense deliberations with well advised and informed groups before any major options are finalized; especially when far reaching consequences impacting the corporation's future productivity/viability/survival are being determined.
Some decisions though, when actuated impact large groups of people, even entire populations; decision making that has the most far reaching results; the political policies and programs formulated by those who are the leaders of Nations.
The  chosen people who have been entrusted by the citizenry to ensure the well being, safety, success, prosperity and continuity of the particular nation or country; decisions made by these so-called leaders of Nations. When decisions of such magnitude are made poorly, or thought out inconsiderately of the long term reverberations and resulting consequences to the welfare of the nation, the populace bears the brunt of the fall out, loses livelihood, even killed.
One very starkly painful illustration of decision that affects entire nations directly or otherwise is the declaration of war. Most of us alive now would have had some experience some directly of armed conflict between nations. The bombings and invasion of another sovereign State, the World Wars we have been through or read about. These happened because so called leaders entrusted with the welfare of the country and its people, their lives, prosperity and future, endowed with extensive authority, decided to wage War most times for short term poorly thought out elusive illusionary gains!
The focus of this digression: Whatever the effects of our choices....just ripples in the home kitchen or huge devastating globally widespread 'Tsunamis'.. do we consult others? Do we convene, deliberate, consult with highly qualified Political Scientists, highly trained Sociologists, much decorated Military strategists, high ranking political Masters, Presidents of powerful nations of the world, the Senate, Parliament, the UN, our doctor, our lawyer, our banker, our spouse, our mechanic, our imam, the passionate, usually inappropriate pastor,  our retired but still not dead enough statesmen?

In most instances we consult no one — only our ego - the all encompassing ME.

Do we ever, even consider consulting the Supreme One, God, Allah, the Creator, the Almighty, the One True God, Yahweh, Tien Gong, the ONE who MATTERS MOST???

And when catastrophes on a devastating global scale results due to decision made by low-life like these with NO consultation with the DIVINE ONE - the blame is placed right on HIS plate!!
Of course if we are the only one affected or involved & live under a rock, AND should the entire sky crash in on ONLY us when we make the unilateral decision, then we consult no one.............. we JUST DO IT ! And kill only ourself.
Even then, there still is the rock above which is as buried in the avalanche as one with one's EGO -

 that though, is another story.
